U.S. authorities have been notoriously and arrogantly unresponsive and uncooperative in rescue and/or investigation relating to U.S. slavery situations.

Anyone who intends to report any incidents should first review the experiences of others who have tried to do the same, such as Requests and appeals to authorities and other entities on this web site.

All such reports and appeals should be heavily documented by the person submitting the information, should be done in a manner, such as, preferably, via email or at least via fax, that is traceable and that provides the least likelihood of interception by perpetrators.  It's best to have a contact name, prior to transmitting the communication, and a telephone number to that person that enables receipt and review verification as well as follow up.  Ideally, a case number or other identifier is assigned to the submission.  This should be requested and that number recorded by the person submitting that information.

Excerpts from 09/30/03 - Beaming up the infrastructure:

.. Yeeaa!!!!!!!!! FBI now has a way to submit complaints and tips via the internet that aren't necessarily associated with Sept. 11, 2001 type terrorism: https://tips.fbi.gov/

And, if the FBI has something like this, why doesn't the U.S. Connecticut District State's Attorney's office? Or the Department of Justice's Civil Rights Division, the self-proclaimed champion in the fight against Human Trafficking? ...

However, keep in mind that, due to the way such online tip lines are set up, combined with news reports of the FBI's culture, particularly in response to technology, etc., it is very likely that nothing will result from any information fed into such vehicles.

Theoretically, the most effective use of such information should be that fed directly to the US Department of Justice, either through the FBI - mandated local/regional FBI office in your area and/or to other parts of that entity, for example, the US DOJ Civil Rights Division, or U.S. Attorney's office for your region.

Regarding the local/regional FBI office in your area, for SE CT, for example, that is FBI New Haven (phone# 203/777-6311 and 203/238-0505, fax#203/777-5098 or 203/503-5155).  Sending information/complaints to the attention of the SAC (Special Agent in Charge) may help ensure some kind of accountability.
